Scotland - where to stay NOT in Mallaig in June

Hi folks, anyone got any recommendations of where to stay in June in the general direction of Mallaig, but not too close.
Flying to Glasgow and hiring a car then heading sort of north of Mull, south of Skye.
Mallaig and immediate area is apparently totally full for 2 nights in the week we've chosen due to a wedding with mass hordes arriving from Ireland!
Nice-ish hotel, good seafood there or nearby. Touring, walking, boat trips - no fishing.

Just back from that area, Kyle of Lochalsh is lousy for food, Where exactly is your destination, not a lot between Mallaig and Kyle, there is another ferry to Skye, north of the last remaining wilderness, Knoydart
Kylernea - Bernera
You could try the Invarary area

Only one Hotel on Knoydart, and no external roads, try the Fort William area thats about 40 mile from Mallaig, where the ferry - mainly foot, but can crane on bigger items goes to Inverie

Knoydart is a visit, maybe overnight, not a long stay.
Ardnamurchan also of interest.
Ditto Skye if we have time but have been there before.
Anywhere with decent seafood and a good selection of Malts will do as a base....

Yep, eaten on Seil Island. And had a beer in the brewery.  Grin
BUT did you look carefully at the "Bridge over the Atlantic" in your photo?
Very interesting local habitat on its rocky flanks, all sorts of rare alpines growing in the stonework!
PS Appin is a bit East/South of where we're aiming this year.  Cheesy
