Re: SNOW last night.

Snow's great, makes the south look pathetic when half an inch stops everything... Grin

Re: SNOW last night.

I bought one AFTER the bad winter a few years ago, I know but I wasn't expecting 2' of snow. Last year it got used for the 1st time. Only to move an inch or so. Still better to have than not have.

No, I thought it was supposed to prevent snow and it failed miserably in 2010-2011...see attached.

Re: SNOW last night.

Don't bother buying heart attack shovels, they're made to be cheap and pretty much single-use, use a proper shove that will last years... Smiley

Re: SNOW last night.

My cheap plastic snow shovel has lasted 5 years, albeit with a single repair, as it hardly gets used.
Bulldog also make a snow shovel for £16 and it looks more substantial than mine.

Re: SNOW last night.

Absolutely no sign whatsoever of snow in deepest darkest rural Warwickshire yet; kids keep looking at the weather forecast though. First thing son does on waking on a school morning is check an app that lists bad weather school closures in our county  Wink

Re: SNOW last night.

We have sunshine and a few small clouds today but it is rather chilly.

Re: SNOW last night.

Rather chilly, Mav? It's somewhat more than that here, but at least we have (generally) blue sky. Smiley
