SAS Cabin baggage allowance:

Does anyone know with these guys if the 1 item of cabin baggage includes a laptop?
In most cases a laptop is not counted and can be carried additional to the 1 item but the information on this page is a little bare.

Best to ask the airline direct.  Some allow a carry-on plus laptop but others say it has to be inside the bag. It's about time some standardisation was brought to baggage allowances.

Re: SAS Cabin baggage allowance:

I will just check a bag in, it doesn't cost anything.
Besides, I will then be able to take some tools that I will need in Copenhagen (one being a Stanley knife) that I would have otherwise had to buy over there.

I would strongly advise you to contact the airline, regarding packing any "sharp instruments"  (eg. screwdrivers, knives, tuning prods etc). to see if they will allow them into the cabin area.... I doubt it...

Re: SAS Cabin baggage allowance:

I have no intension of packing anything like that in my hand baggage! LoL
I have decided to check a bag in so I now can bring this stuff as opposed to buying it while there.
I am installing an IP PDU on some remote kit, not all of which is already connected using IEC connectors so I have to cut of the existing plugs and wire on the IEC plugs I am bringing with me.
