Re: Ryanair going to charge for using aircraft toilet

when I first read that I thought 'surely not'. But it is Ryan Air after all...
Looks like I'll be taking a potty for the kids on future flights.

Re: Ryanair going to charge for using aircraft toilet

Probably will not work. One goes to the toilet the whole plane than goes. Each leaving the door open for the next.

Now you know why they had little holes in the windows of some Dakotas.
But honestly, I can't see it working myself. Basically on the grounds that the passengers will not have an alternative.

Re: Ryanair going to charge for using aircraft toilet

So, if you approached one of the cabin staff and said, "I need to use the toilet, but do not have a 10/50/100p coin, I am going to wet myself in the next 60s" what exactly would they do? Open the door maybe!

I think they have put this story out too soon.  Surely it belongs to April 1st?

I thought this was a joke when I first read it.
Next thing you know, it'll be variable pricing as to what 'type' of toilet visit you need Sad

That would get recycled on the return flight as Heineken.

Re: Ryanair going to charge for using aircraft toilet

I guess Michael O'Leary would be flushed with success if he got away with this Roll eyes Roll eyes
I saw the interview on BBC Breakfast this morning and took his remarks to be tongue in cheek (no pun intended).  I would imagine it would cause more problems than it's worth for Ryanair.
