Re: Royal Wedding Preview

This was made for T-Mobile so I guess you'll be seeing a lot of it on TV.  They normally take 15-30 second pieces to use in their commercials. They did this with their Heathrow Terminal 5  one recently.

Re: Royal Wedding Preview

To me that big red cross means "No", so when I look I read it as "No thanks for the free day off."
Much as I'd be happier if the couple got married in a Vegas chapel of love and we had none of the fuss, I'm still happy to receive a free day off work for no good reason, although I'm sure many a business man is wondering why the Royal Wedding is costing them so much personally.

I'll lay money more business's are loosing out than are winning, and by quite a large margin.

Re: Royal Wedding Preview

Quote
Our research shows that in a typical year Britain’s Monarchy generates, on the most conservative estimates, well over £500 million a year directly and indirectly from overseas tourists – but the benefit of a Royal Wedding year is likely to outstrip that.

Above quote from the Telegraph. Also from the BBC:

(I assume you both mean lose and not loose Wink )
