Royal Birth

It looks like the royal baby is imminent. The Duchess of Cambridge has been admitted to St Mary's Hospital in London this morning.

Re: Royal Birth

I'm sure there are plenty of rich thin posh women having babies in expensive private hospitals at the moment. I'm not remotely interested in any of them

Re: Royal Birth

Will they automatically get child benefit or do they have to apply?

Re: Royal Birth

Will they even need it? - The newborn will already be a parasite the moment it's born feeding from the state expenses so I don't think the CB is an issue  Roll eyes
On a positive note, despite the golden spoon in its mouth I with Kate and Wills good luck as parents.

I wonder what bad news Cameron has scheduled to let out so that it can be buried in nationalistic fervour that’s about to erupt

Re: Royal Birth

I've got the TV on, the radio on and a news feed running across the bottom of my computer screen.
I can't wait.....NOT!
I'm not anti-royal but a birth is a birth and there are many every day.

Re: Royal Birth

Everyone I know was born at some time - assuming that applies to everyone else as well then there must be a fair few births every day.
I'm not anti-royal (not pro-royal either) but wouldn't a simple announcement after it's happened suffice?
