Hopefully it will keep him off our TV screens.  I couldn't stand him.  I always wondered why he was on the programme in the first place.

Perhaps he'll be investigated by Dominic Littlewood for Saints and Scroungers Cool
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.

A presenter on the BBC consumer affairs programme Rogue Traders has admitted illegally claiming housing and council tax benefits totalling £24,000.

Quote
The court heard the council, which brought the prosecution, would be seeking to recover all the cash and Penteado had already paid back £210.

Perhaps BBC are planning a new series " Advice to Benefit Scroungers" with him presenting from his prison cell  Roll eyes

By the way, I will add that I'm not condoning fraudulent claiming of benefits - just that if someone intends to defraud why would they then take a job in the public view where someone in the Benefits Office could recognise them Cheesy

Have to agree there.  How can he continue in a role on a consumer programme. I could never understand why he was employed in the first place.

He was better than Matt Al(w/r?)ight who frankly is rubbish. Roger Cook was far superior at provoking a response from conmen than Matt who they just drive away from. Matt also tries to be funny and IMO fails miserably. The duo used to have their own 1/2 hour TV show and it was so good the BBC downsized them into their own little corner of Watchdog.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!
