Re: Returning to the PN family

Cheers chap - just struggling to find out what speed I'm going to be on.

When I left, I was on 80/20. The option of 40/10 (and I think 40/20) were available but I've just noticed it was dropped to 40/2

I've gone for standard Fibre unlimited so can only assume I'm going to either be on 40/10 or 55/10 ?

The Plusnet site is clear as mud over upload speeds .......

Re: Returning to the PN family

You'll be on 40/10.
The 55/10 was an 'upgrade' for customers on the legacy 40/20 package iirc and never available to order.

Re: Returning to the PN family

Cheers Browni - that is what I was hoping.

As the main user of t'internet these days is my stepson, a speed drop will bother him more than me. In fact, if he drains my bandwidth I'll turn on limiting on his vlan on the switch I've got him hooked up to ........

In "real" terms, Origin Broadband moved me onto a TalkTalk network which has had some issues recently so with lots of disconnects, my line speed has dropped to 49/18. Maximum attainable according to my router is 60/18 so a 40/10 isn't really a huge drop.
