Red Flag of China Flies over Portsmouth Dockyard

Went for a visit, across the water... ( actually drove round after viewing the Heoght Osaka ).. and from Gosport, I looked across at the Dockyard Signal Tower, and couldn`t beleive my eyes..... The Chinese Flag, was flying high !... I wondered if the Dockyard had been sold to the Chinese...( well British Steel at Port Talbot ( and other locations is run by TATA from Korea ).... or maybe we had been invaded ..... Nowt in local press or on the telly....
Couldn`t see any forren ships in, so I sent a message to a friend, who usually knows about these things .  He said he would find out... and he did....
Three modern Chinese warships are coming to visit on Monday... Unfortunately, I won`t be able to go down to the sea front and watch them come in because I have other appointments at the time...
If you want to see modern chinese warship pics.... go to google images and enter            chinese ship Chang Bai shan           and  chinese ship   Chaohu
and chinese ship Yuncheng
times of arrival as follows.. if you are local
09.30 Chang Bai shan
10.00 Chaohu
10.30 Yuncheng

That's good then, don't want them stealing the general shape of them and mass-producing below sub-par (pardon the pun) copies that explode after using them for four days... Grin

The location of the Sub-port is a secret. If announced it here the Chinese  might discover it's location.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.
