Recycling CDs

If, like me, you have a stack of unused CDs, here is a link for recycling them:
http://www.polymerrecycling.co.uk/cd.html
Now that it is almost spring, one day soon I am going to have a clear out!

Re: Recycling CDs

I recycle mine through the other half's allotment Poppy - he uses them on strings to scare away the birds, they are quite successful Smiley

Re: Recycling CDs

Because most of my CD's are used for backup and contain confidential information I have a very simple disposal technique.
Get a large plastic sack (the sort you get compost or sand in)
Put on my very heavy duty leather gardening gloves and eye protection goggles.
Take CD and put it into the bag and break it by folding it. Then deposit remains in refuse suitably protected.
Note that I never throw out CD and DVD cases but reuse them as I buy my CD's and DVD's in bulk.
