There batteries are a good price, most of mine are there brand, I have had some fail, but it still works out cheaper than elsewhere

Re: Re-chargable batteries

Any idea what capacity those AA batteries are? Hopefully 2000mAh or better is useful,  I guess they maybe 850mAh or similar, so OK for running low power devices, but not great for a Digital Camera.

Re: Re-chargable batteries

A bit of useless information for those who did not know but Aldi and Lidl are owned by two brothers Cheesy

Re: Re-chargable batteries

Aldi was founded and run by 2 brothers but Lidl was formed in 1973 modelled on Aldi and controlled by a family.

Re: Re-chargable batteries

the last Lidl AA I got were 2500ah, the AAA 900 AH, also got some D for a torch 4500
As to ownership,  you would think sometimes they use the same purchase departments, as they both have the same items on sale

Re: Re-chargable batteries

The leaflet does not actually quote the Nmh of the batteries...... but claims they are 65% cheaper than B&Q.... the qualifies that with a statement...
" Similar item - B&Q AAA 4 pack rechargable batteries 1300Ni-MH, £7.98 Purchased at B&Q New Malden on 18th February 2011 "
I did try to see if the photograph of the batteries would reveal anything, by looking through a magnifying glass, but the quality of the pic is not good enough to decipher the battery info...

Re: Re-chargable batteries

I need to replace my rechargables as they're coming up to 5 years old and not holding their charge very well. Thanks for the tip Smiley
