R.I.P. George Cole!

Just heard on the radio that he's died aged 90.  Cry
Lovable rogue and wide boy!

A great actor who will be remembered best for his role of Arthur Daley in Minder. I always enjoyed Minder.

I'm sure he'll negotiate a good deal at the Pearly Gates.

George Cole as Arthur Daley was absolutely perfect casting, he produced an iconic TV character. RIP.  Smiley

Ditto, he was absolutely brilliant. I was only a kid back in the 80s but I used to watch Minder religiously.

Agreed, great actor. Minder (Waterman years) was superb.
