Re: Quiz to bring back the memories

8/10 - the first 2 questions were before my time.
Damn, I used to lust after a Neo Geo but the games were £100 a time - basically because you were buying exactly the same cartridge that went in the Neo Geo arcade cabinets.
I think I'm going to go home and play Metal Slug on MAME, whilst giggling happily to myself. It's very therapeutic to be able to insert a coin by pushing a key on your keyboard, especially if that's where all your pocket money went as a child Smiley

Even better is to set up a MAME cabinet in your student house and rinse 20p's out of all your mates when they come round  Cool

That's genius. I'm only replying because I've just noticed your signature and have to say that Murray is possibly the best computer game character ever created. Oddly enough I just finished playing through Escape again yesterday...

I got 5 out of 10, there was no way I was going to get the PET wrong I was at Commodore Business Machines late 1976 to 1977, the bilt in tape deck was my idea, from memory it had 33 chips on board.  Wink

I fondly remember playing Granny's Garden on the BBC Micro Grin
*goes to find an emulated version*
Edit: OMG!!! It costs a tenner (although it is compatible with Windows Vista, lol)

Don't do it Bob...it's a road to ruin.
Late nights, drinking to excess, incessant snacking on junk food and the eventual loss of all friends, relatives and reality. Cry
