Question about Meadowhall

Above.

Planning to visit Meadowhall for the first time in nearly a year and half tomorrow, on a mission to locate Hamleys toy shop, I've been on the Meadowhall website and looked at a map, which says it's on the lower High St, but I'm still none the wiser? I did read somewhere that's near the former House of Fraser, on the corner near the lower part of the former Debenhams (they went bust about 2 months ago).

Can anyone enlighten me? Reason I'm asking is because I had a telephone interview for a job this past Tuesday, and they never got back to me with the result if I'd got to the next employment stage!

Re: Question about Meadowhall

Although I live in Sheffield, I have very rarely visited MH, but there are information points throughout the complex, and plenty of security staff who will be able to direct you.

Re: Question about Meadowhall

@HelloDuck I've got a rough idea where it is then, could be where that other toy shop The Entertainer was, on the way from the lower part of the Tram Interchange.

Thanks Ducky.

Re: Question about Meadowhall

Aim for 'The Lanes' - it is the last shop before them - next to the 'Sheffield Wednesday' shop.

@jab1 Ah so just before the Oasis food quarter then? Where Carphone Warehouse was on the corner? I'm sure we'll be popping in there for lunch.

If they haven`t contacted you,.......... then  I would assume that you have not got any further.

Employers very very rarely bother to contact the hundreds of people who were not successful in the interview stage.... just not feasible, or economical to do so...

@shutter Meh, so much for "We don't discriminate against disabled applicants", she was probably fibbing about the 1 legged girl they have on staff etc! Smh.

Do you believe that you 'should have' got the job because of a disability or that it 'should' go the the most appropriate candidate?

No, I just believe I shouldn't be told to go away as soon as I declare, which is SUPPOSED to be illegal under the 2010 Equality Act.

Jesus wept, you are an example of all that wrong with the drive towards equality in all things irrespective of ability.

Feel free as you will to delete mods, but @MrAllen2021, your attitude sucks.
