Question Time

Tonight David Dimbleby will chair Question Time on BBC1 for the last time after 25 years.

Generally I have always enjoyed the programme dependent on who is on the panel and I wonder if the programme will be as good when Fiona Bruce takes over from Dimbleby. Personally I have my doubts.

Re: Question Time

I watched Question Time recently, first time in many years. I was surprised how soft Dimbleby had become. Some of the comments from the panel and audience which he just let go, he would never have done in his prime.

So maybe it's a good thing that he's packing it in.

Re: Question Time

I try not to miss an episode of the *show program.

I record episodes of a series that I miss 'live' for later catchup.

It will be interesting to see how Fiona Bruce handles the task.

*Had to correct that as David did when Piers Morgan referred to it as a show.

I wonder what it looks like replayed in slow-mo. Undecided

Re: Question Time

In my opinion he should have moved on around 15years ago.  It is a number of years since I watched QT; it had become very predictable, and the quality of the panellists was low, and there was precious little real debate. I may let the new presenter 'settle in' and try it again in Feb/Mar, but I'm not optimistic.

Last time I watched it Robin Day was in charge. He was a different kettle!

So in a few weeks time you'll be hearing them discuss whether Theresa May will survive the vote of confidence. Cheesy
