Is the Queens speech not just a waste of time and money, after all it does not mean she agrees with the content of the speech which is prepared by the government and based on what it plans to do, which is a completely different thing to what it may end up doing or not doing.

It would be much better if Charles wrote the speech with Philip adding the comical bits.

At least then it wouldn't tow the government line or be politically correct.
