Queen Poses On Remote Spot At Balmoral

A new picture of the Queen standing in elaborate regalia in the middle of her Balmoral estate has been revealed.

Quote
The picture of the monarch posing in a Scottish field next to a stream has been released to mark the 60th anniversary of her coronation.
The Queen, wearing the striking emerald robes of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle - Scotland's version of the Order of the Garter, stood for half-an-hour for the shoot.

Simply can't make my mind up about this Photograph, I am no expert on photography but feel improvements could have been made to it.
Perhaps it just me, what do others think ?

No trick photography has taken place. There has been no digital enhancement by some special effects boffin. This spectacular image of the Sovereign – published in Weekend for the very first time – really is the Queen

I think it is a spectacular photo.  Certainly won't help Salmon's campaign for independence  Grin

I think it's a great photo but...
I have to admit that it does look like she has been photoshopped into the background but someone forgot to add her right arm Cheesy

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that!
Just like the days on tv when the magicians used to say the trick was magic and the audience were not in on it... and they always were lol.

OK, I'll believe it, but it just doesn't look right around the collar/neck area.

Tony Blair said that Iraq had WMD too lol.
It doesn't matter if thats truthful or not, it could well be photoshopped but the powers that be wouldn't admit to using that on the queen! I take everything the state says with a large pinch of salt. Yes its a nice pic of her maj (not a big fan myself but hey ho lol) but it does look like its been digitally editied regardless of what they claim.

I suppose, technically, they can claim it hasn't been photoshopped if they used a different program Tongue

Sorry it was me who used the term photoshop and not the photographer.  In the article he states:
