Quad 9 - Any Good?

Does anyone use Quad 9 and is it any good and what does it actually do? https://www.quad9.net/

It's the IP address of an alternative DNS server (9.9.9.9). If you have a Plusnet Hub Zero or Hub One router then I'm afraid that you can't use it as Plusnet lock these devices to their own DNS servers. I have used it for a while on my Business Smarthub 6 but reverted to OpenDNS for a reason I can no longer remember.

You can, but it would just mean setting the DNS on every device manually, or another option would be to run Pi-hole on a Raspberry Pi and use it's DHCP server, which is specifically included to mitigate the issue of ISPs hard coding DNS settings on their supplied routers

Amazingly, I have lived, for the past 10 years, ( at least ) without it.... so, why should I start now  ? ? ? ?
