I've actually got one of those. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005E2NWOK but in silver. Only because I always ended up with cards so squint they couldn't be read!

That's not a bad idea for travelling, someone could in theory walk past you with an RFID scanner and nick £20 if you have a contactless card, with less effort than pickpocketing you.

I was in a shopping center in Edinburgh not so long ago and we were sitting having coffee and I noticed a man who 'accidentally' bumped in to people, but every time he did his shopping bag would do a complete sweep of your front and behind as he made his excuses for not paying attention. I suspected then that this was what he was up to, I didn't say anything to him but I did bubble him to the in store security.

It's £30 now as they upped the limit recently...
