Can we please go back to the old rules where the discussion of Politics and Religion is not allowed.
This is an ISP forum, there are plenty of other channels out there for people to "slag each off" sorry I mean discuss in a rational manner. Ha!

As long as the posts remain within the rules, then it should be fine:
Everyone on this forum will have different beliefs, thoughts, viewpoints. We want this to be a place where everyone can come to talk and join in with conversations. Therefore anyone deeming to be disruptive, or posting objectionable content will be spoken to by the moderation team and if their posting style does not change, this may result in further sanctions and ultimately a ban from the forums.

What old rule was that then? - I've been here longer than you and that rule never existed to the best of my knowledge.
This is a general chat forum, it's clear that politics falls under that description.

I like being able to discuss polyticks on a forum, yes it gets heated and people start arguing over fish, but most forums either ban it outright, have it very one-sided so if you have a different view then you're an outcast, or just go full-on sofa-warrior who doesn't actually go out and vote...
And remember kids, Poly is Many, and Ticks are bloodsucking Parasites, polyticks...

Since changes to the forum a few members have commented on how quite it has been some days so I see nothing wrong in raising topics that people might be interested in providing we stick to the rules and keep the personal stuff out of it, something I sometimes fail to do.
Anyway no one can say the forum has been quite this morning !

Am I the only one that thinks it's funny that the OP doesn't want the discussion of Politics and Religion here.
Except the post has of course started a discussion of Politics and Religion here.

It has? I don't see any discussion about either in this thread.
IF you're referring to my second referendum threadI hadn't even seen this thread when I started that.
