Plusnet failed?

A report of a major Plusnet failure yesterday? Details here.  I didn't notice it, but I do have a resilient link with another supplier as well as Plusnet.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Re: Plusnet failed?

It was an outage on the BT wholesale network. Nothing to do with us tbh and would have affected lots of other ISPs.

Re: Plusnet failed?

Yeah, there were a flurry of tweets about it.  It looks like people start getting reconnected by about ten past 11.

Re: Plusnet failed?

BT BB was affected along with some others. Strange thing was it affected NE Eng, Edinburgh etc, but I was unaffected (30 miles south of Edinburgh) BUT one of the local stores was affected as it killed their card machines so cash only. (I assume they were with BT)
