Plusnet Recommended.

Plusnet get a Recommended award in the latest issue of PC Advisor.
Quote from: PC
Plusnet is a popular ISP for Mac users....
Ninety percent of you said you'd recommend Plusnet as an ISP......
Overall satisfaction and connection reliability figures were among the best of all providers for which we had sufficient data to evaluate.
Customer loyalty was also high, with a third of you having stuck with Plusnet for more than five years,
so we were surprised to find long-term contracts cited as a reason for switching to another ISP.

Plusnet achieved 4 stars beaten with 4.5 stars by O2 Crazy

Re: Plusnet Recommended.

I guess it depends on whether you consider a year and a half as long.
Though I was looking at mobile phone tariffs today, and it's no surprise they're trying to push 2 year contracts now.
So while it is hard to beat PlusNet at their silly minimum contracts .. it is still possible.

Re: Plusnet Recommended.

Angry well I sure  as heck don't recommend PN with the stupid 18Month Contracts and effective price hikes.
How PN can claim to be surprised is pathetic and beyond belief Cheesy. Dunno whether to laugh or weep.
The so called Value package is now MORE expensive after the first 3 months in my area.  Hardly progress Crazy

5. What's the contract length?
Plusnet Value: 18 months
Plusnet Pro: 12 months
Once the contract is up, both accounts revert to a monthly contract.

Maybe somebody should get their current faqs right!
