Plusnet Fined £880,000 by Ofcom for Wrongful Billing

Internet provider Plusnet has today been hit by a fine of £880,000 after the national UK telecoms regulator ruled that they had incorrectly billed 1,025 ex-customers for landline and broadband services, which occurred between 26th May 2011 and 3rd September 2015.

See, you cant even trust Plusnet not to charge you, for services that you are not using. Now expect your broadband prices to rise very soon.

That dedicated network costs a lot to run BTW, so plusnet customers really will pay for it, after being fined.

PN really will do us proud.Wink

The mod will soon lock this thread in favour of this one https://community.plus.net/t5/Plusnet-Feedback/Plusnet-fined-for-billing-ex-customers/td-p/1425515 (which should probably be moved to My Account/Billing)

Well from what I read PlusNet reported themselves over this, but inexcusable all the same.
