Plusnet Broadband... Faster than a speeding Trolley, in a queue

Despite doom & gloom merchants telling us that all these people self isolating would lead to slower Internet speed, I'm on copper  and..

Exactly, @Lægen I get a constant 7.3/7.5 on my hourly automatic speed check, whatever time of day it is. I do get the occasional 'rogue', but it corrects itself next time round.

OK @Mook no need to boast.😉

I know mines 10% of yours, but it's fast enough for what I want.

Re: Plusnet Broadband... Faster than a speeding Trolley, in a queue

To be fair @jab1 I was being a bit obtuse. This isn't my real speed, it's impossible as Plusnet don't provide it, but it is what is reported by the site. The point I was trying to make, albeit badly, was to take speed tester results with a pinch of salt.

OK, @Mook , but my reported speed of ~7.7 is correct.

And that's with the kids online - they take absolutely no notice at all if I say I want to do a speed test. But yes, doesn't seem to be any slow down.

@Mook Maybe time for an upgrade. 😁 The free Fritzbox supplied by my ISP tends to supply all the info without any major drama even down to the nitty gritty of connection speeds etc.
