There are some weird and wonderful place names in this country, I often wonder how they originated ?
Knotty Ash.
Gravesend.
Goole.
What others can be added to the list. ?

Google can provide many 'interesting' (rude) ones (not sure if these are all genuine - most are) - link to rude names, don't click if too easily offended.

Street names in Northamptonshire include 'Titty Ho' in Raunds and 'Bell End' in Wollaston.
