Re: Pirate BBC Essex this Easter

A few of my friends / colleagues from a well known Chelmsford radio manufacturing company supported the pirate ships,  Grin
and one worked as chief engineer on R. Caroline - or was it R. London
I'm not sure where spare radio  parts came from - but one could easily have a good guess  Wink

I wish I could remember the name it was definitely not Hoffmans, it was I think a double barrelled name, and it didnt begin with Ma, might have been Cromptons, but not sure

Re: Pirate BBC Essex this Easter

Mal, I'll have to shake the old grey cells around. Mike 'whosenameIforget' might have been RNI, but there we are. The name Carl rings some sort of bell (could have been the Caroline one  Wink ), but not anyone I've met (that I recall).
Unfortunately on Friday, I wasn't anywhere I could listen, I'm annoyed that I missed Stevi Merike. Been listening to a bit of Rosko again this evening - he's still as good as he used to be. Must try and catch a bit of Twiggy Day in the morning.
