Phil the Greek is stented

Seems that Prince Phillip is in Papworth after being taken there, from Sandingham, with chest pains.

Re: Phil the Greek is stented

Methinks not especially as he, and Charlie, wouldn't be allowed to travel in same aircraft.
Actually I hope the old chap is ok as I quite like him. I was a 12 year old, collecting train numbers, when the royal train pulled out taking them on honeymoon.

I don't recall QE2 ever visiting family in hospital so his wife and 4 kids popping in must have really worried him  Wink

Re: Phil the Greek is stented

Certainly the last time he was in hospital he didn't get a visit.
He's in the best place for a heart condition.  Papworth is the biggest unit in Europe and a centre of excellence renowned around the world.

Re: Phil the Greek is stented

His family came to see him, then disappeared off back to Sandringham.
You would have thought someone would have stayed with him !
I bet he's having fun with the medical staff anyway .....
Does his stay in hospital fill the Greek people with apprehension ?
