Not really, phpmyadmin is simply an administration tool to handle and manipulate the data within the database. It's the same as any web program such as a forum. It's completely seperate to the website itself and the database but simply provides a user friendly interface to the database engine. The latest versions of phpmyadmin come equipped with ajax which i find a bit frustrating for various reasons. The older version is much simpler to use.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

The etc was made for reference to the in-house server and what software package it is using and if it is up to date (which I very much doubt) and (doubt it is set up correctly)
