Partial Solar Eclipse - Tuesday, 4th January.

There will be a partial solar eclipse tomorrow:
Partial Eclipse 1
Partial Eclipse 2
Partial Eclipse 3
It should be visible throughout the UK.

Safe ways of viewing
the first is the Ist Aug 2008 partial, a reflected image through a telescope taken at 10:48 in Braintree
the other one I got was the full eclipse earlier, a reflection in a bowl of water, it on one of my old hd's, cant find it yet

Viewing the partial eclipse
The safest way to view the event is on the television or via live web viewings on the internet.

with the cloud we have now, that might be the only way
look at the BBC PDF - that is advice

I should have stayed in Spain.  Great views from the Spanish coast.
Some good sighting from around the UK in Cambridge, Inverness and Stonehenge.
