Re: Parking- There`s a space over here...

Those seem to have engines on the wings, MD80s had their engines at the back: https://www.google.co.uk/search?lr=&as_qdr=all&q=%22md+80%22&spell=1&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiD75fgrrrkAhWdQ...

The MD80 series was the successor to the old DC9s, I flew a lot on both in my younger days.  They looked very stylish from the side, especially when taking off, and had a slightly unusual 2+3 seat configuration.

The one in your twitter link seems to be the real thing.

Re: Parking- There`s a space over here...

Def not MD 80's. As for the Boeing Max, seems they are still building them and storing them outside. They are also training an army of tech's to look after them while grounded - seems aircraft don't weather well while standing around.

Don't think they'll be flying next week. Not that you'd get me on one anyway.

Ever helpful. Sure, I’d love to help you out. Now which way did you come in?

I wouldn't know one from a Sopwith Camel, but why the interest in planes @shutter - I thought you were a Navy man?

Re: Parking- There`s a space over here...

@Minivanman   Yup !... Navy.... however... was on Aircraft carrier for 2 years... and being in communications, was involved with that side of the flying operations... and spent a lot of time on the bridge observing take offs and landings in all kinds of situations and weather... still listen to ATC and keep an eye on Flight Radar for interesting stuff...

Also like steam trains, and used to work on a heritage line... nowt to do with the navy. ! .

@Minivanman, I can't see the upstairs bar on that 747, or is it on the 'terrace' on top of the wings?  I think in this case 747 refers to the year it was made.
