PN forum slow / connection failed?

Anyone else been having problems these last few days with the forum?
I keep getting the connection has been interrupted messages (after a few minutes of waiting) and then randomly the forum works with no problems.
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Re: PN forum slow / connection failed?

Yep.  Same for me using both Chrome and Firefox.  Click on a link and randomly 'nothing happens'.  Sometimes it takes three or four attempts before I can get an item to load.  No problem with other sites.
Win 7 connecting through a Netgear DG 834G router, syncing at 8128 Kbps.  Speedtest showing just over 6000 Kbps.

Similar problems. Erratic performance while other sites are running smoothly. Often there are no problems with the PN forum.
The only difference on my site is I run the port 80 and DNS through Demon Internet as a primary route with PN as an alternate route.

Re: PN forum slow / connection failed?

I Also find the PN site can be erratic at times, the login page often remains on for 15 - 20 seconds even though I am actually logged on and have to click on the community site title to clear the login page. Other times there is no problem, I just assumed the PN site was very busy hence the reason for the delay.

Re: PN forum slow / connection failed?

I just think they need to speed up the system of dragging information from the associated servers and it just waits until it gets most of it

Re: PN forum slow / connection failed?

Well I found when you come to PN login rather than login just click on community tab.
Since doing it had no problems.  Cool

Re: PN forum slow / connection failed?

Has this only been over recent days folks? I can't help but think it might be something to do with the intermittent data transfer problems we've been having of late?

Re: PN forum slow / connection failed?

Considerably more than 'a few days' for me with regard to attachments even after my upload speed having more than doubled with 21CN.

Re: PN forum slow / connection failed?

uploading attachments has always been slow and it isn't related to upload speed as it is just waiting for the forum to do something before starting the upload

Re: PN forum slow / connection failed?

Has anybody established if this problem is UK wide?
Just that I have never had a problem with load issues on forums/PN member centre
