Pleased to report that 'state pension imminent' Mrs Minivanman now has an appointment for her jab next Friday. 

Funny how they do these thing as although like mine it's at the local rugby club, I had a letter and she got a phone call.

So it'll be two down and two more to go.

So, how do we feel about the PM's announcement?

Personally I think it's looking good. If everything is back to normal...proper normal, by mid June, that must be a good thing. Here in Wales I just hope that lump of a leader we have pulls his finger out and follows suit.

Now where did I leave the grandchildren's bucket and spades.

Personally I can't see the world returning to as it was any time soon, if ever.

The problem will be some people will see it as an identity card under another name

Indeed, and their problem will be when the find they cannot travel to another country without one. 

Times have certainly changed but there you go, some people will argue white is black even after a snowstorm.

I've got no issue with a vaccine passport once the vaccination program has offered everyone in society a vaccine appointment.

For people that have a genuine medical reason for not being able to have the current vaccines - scientists will eventually come up with a suitable alternative for them.

For the people in society that choose to not have a covid vaccine - let them suffer being excluded from gaining entry to places / events / countries that insist on allowing vaccinated people only.

Does America still ask whether you are gay when applying for a visa?  I've never seen demonstrations about it outside their embassy in London.

Less of an invasion of privacy to ask if you've been vaccinated, some countries require vaccines for other things anyway, although it's become less common and they are not usually holiday destinations.

Yep I think it is going to take some time - ok you can read that as a lot of time. Before things ever get back to normal.

I already said to my sister - "There is going to be a recession over this". I can think of many reasons why.

Hope not as of course it is not a good thing.
