Thursday better night for the rest of the UK, but only a moderate chance of spotting them.

A giant asteroid heading towards Earth on Halloween will be the closest pass in nine years, NASA have revealed.
The huge clunk of space debris named 2015 TB145 will zoom past us at 78,000mph some 499,000 kilometres away - the closest since July 2006.

No good to me in SE SCOTLAND, doubt I would see it with the local light pollution anyway.

Nope need to be further north to see them than I am. I have seen them from Northern Sweden though.

I suppose if the meteor whacks London PN will use it as an excuse for network outage.
