One for one of our finest members: Shutter

Found this on the DM (soz lol).. HMS Queen Lizzie - our newest aircraft carrier:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2589540/Unveiled-Massive-65-000-tonne-Royal-Navy-warship-HMS...
Superb stuff! Shame about the price tag but I must say she's certainly an impressive beast and still shows that we scotland can still actually do things  Smiley
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

I will tell you that it was called brain power Cheesy Roll eyes
Not just Scotland as there was some that had a wee input to the build

They really need to update the tabloids' unit of measurement. The area of Wales,  height of Nelson's Column and volume of Olympic swimming pools may be fixed but the length of London buses is not.
920' (none of that "foreign" metric nonsense!) is the length of 28 of  what kind of London bus? Not the following...
28 x Routemaster (still running on heritage routes) @ RM: 27' 6" or RML:30' 0"  = 840' max.
28 x T ("Titan") @ 31' 4" = c  877'
28 x NBL ("Boris Bus")  @ 36' 8" = c 1031'

28 x Routemaster (still running on heritage routes) @ RM: 27' 6" or RML:30' 0"  = 840' max. ====> No @ 33.3333333333
28 x T ("Titan") @ 31' 4" = c  877' ===> No but closest @ 29.299363
28 x NBL ("Boris Bus")  @ 36' 8" = c 1031' ====> No @ 25
