One Armed Pilot

Pilot's false arm fell off mid flight but was able to land the plane safely

Reminds me of this... Top Gear... My Arm's Come Off !!

I know the feeling.... sort of.
Arm in sling and heavily bandaged hand last year for a short period after minor surgery on a finger, having to cope with just one useful hand made me appreciate having both hands.
And just how difficult it is for others less fortunate.

Re: One Armed Pilot

Don't forget Douglas Bader, the Second World War Fighter Pilot, who lost both his legs and still flew...
He retired from the RAF as a Group Captain and shot down 20 enemy aircraft during the war.
