Take one of our electric bikes for a free 48 hour test ride at one of our thirty-four 48 hour electric bike trial stores. Simply book a short phone consultation with one of our expert colleagues, who will be able to book you in for your FREE 48 hour trial and recommend the right bike for you.
Don’t need a full 48 hours but still want to give an electric bike a go? No problem! All of our Halfords stores offer a free 30 minute trial. Just head into store today and we’ll be able to help you. It’s like having a tail wind behind you all the way!

Claim your Free 48 Hour Test Ride

With our electric bike trial, we give you the opportunity to test ride one of our Carrera Crossfire-E Mens/Womens Electric Hybrid Bike, Carrera Crosscity Electric Bike or the Pendleton Somerby Electric Bike for up to 48 hours for FREE. Getting started is simple:

  • Enter your postcode into our store locator to find your nearest 48 hour electric bike trial store.
  • Click “Make Booking” to schedule a consultation with one of our colleagues, who will call you within the chosen time slot.
  • One of our expert colleagues will call you at the time of your booking choice for your 48 hour trial.
  • Pick up your E-Bike at the booked time – don’t forget that you need bring with you a valid debit or credit card and passport or driving licence!
  • Enjoy taking your E-Bike for a spin!
  • Return your E-Bike back the store at your allotted time.

Electric of not, you'd not get me on a two wheeled buzz bike unless it was on some sort of cycle track. As for on our roads, I should cocoa - and flaming Norah, a thousand smackers for one?

Not sure if you were inferring this, but potholes are one of the major, often unavoidable hazards to cyclists.  Angry

Indeed and I was, and a subject we have covered here a few occasions.

Cyclists suffer more I guess but they really are the bane of a motorists life when trying to avoid those and bikes often at the same time.
