Essex (Chelmsford) have said they are going to hold a large event when the Torch stays overnight on 6th July.  it will be an all ticket event - But the tickets will be free

All of the venues will be arranging some special event.  It is part of the agreement between the location and the Olympic body.

Re: Olympic Torch Route Announced

Two are quite near to me, Bournemouth and Southampton one then the other, so actually am wondering how near the actual route will be.
No one has to agree with my opinion, but in the time I have left a miracle would be nice.

Re: Olympic Torch Route Announced

Seb Coe did say that details are still being worked out and more information will be made available in due course.  Guess it's a case of 'watch this space' Smiley
