Ode to Gordon Brown

A bit of light relief Smiley Smiley
Brown Is My Shepherd, I Shall Not Work.
He Leadeth Me Beside Still Factories.
He Restoreth My Faith In The Conservative Party.
He Guideth Me To The Path Of Unemployment.
Yea, Though I Wait For My Dole,
I Own The Bank That Refuses Me.
Brown Has Anointed My Income With Taxes,
My Expenses Runneth Over My Income,
Surely, Poverty And Hard Living Will Follow Me All
       The Days Of His Term.
From Hence Forth, We Will Live All The Days
Of Our Lives In A  Rented Home With An Overseas
       Landlord.
I Am Glad I Am British, I Am Glad That I Am Free.
But I Wish I Was A Dog And Brown Was A Tree

Yes, I think there was.  As they say. 'What goes around, comes around'.
Sorry about the caps Jim - I copied and pasted from another email.

Re: Ode to Gordon Brown

I realised that which was why I didn't bother reporting it.  Cool
I did first try sentence case but that looked silly which was why I went to title case  Grin

Re: Ode to Gordon Brown

We all knew it was coming though didn't we. How long could houses continue being sold at higher and higher prices?
Face it guys the bubble has burst.
What does annoy me is that the government are blaming the banks. The banks were private companies doing what they do best - trying to make money. Apparently though if you believe the government the banks are there purely to fund the running of the country because the government are so incompetent at doing it themselves. So the banks had a flawed business plan... just goes to show how badly wrong the government got it in the first place.
We shouldn't all need to borrow money in order to survive.
Gordon Brown was never an elected leader and now he's destroying our lives after years of taxing us to the max. It won't be long until there is a huge public revolt..
I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Re: Ode to Gordon Brown

That's very cynical  Wink  I think a change of government will make a lot of difference.  One things for sure, it can't get any worse Smiley
