Now you have voted -

are you going to stay up all night with mounting excitement as the results come in............. or are you like me retiring to bed stfling a yawn  as it is now almost all over bar the shouting?

I can remember in the 60/70s period when I worked in Manchester that various ones of us from the offive would keep going into Cross Street to see the Result Indicator they used to have on the outside of the Manchester Evening News building -  and returning to the office would say who had more seats.......... don't think I am bothered enough nowadays!  even if I could keep looking on the computer or TV!  will wait and see what tomorrow brings..............................

Re: Now you have voted -

I'll probably drop off in the early hours while listening to the results on radio via a pillow speaker, so as not to disturb SWMBO who's been on polling clerk duties today.

Re: Now you have voted -

I most definitely will not be staying up.
In my honest opinion, all three parties are the same....
so does it matter which face comes up on the one coin?
This is my view :-

God grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

Tomorrow is a new day, for better or worse, and staying up
will not change it.
