Now, she really takes the biscuit!

Student, 20, demands LIFETIME supply of chocolate because she had no wafer in her KitKat
Quote
A student is demanding a lifetime supply of KitKats under the threat of legal action after she bought eight of the chocolate bars and none of them had the the trademark wafer inside.
Saima Ahmad, 20, bought the multi-pack from a supermarket for £2 last month, and has now written to manufacturer Nestle claiming that they ignored their duty of care to consumers.

Re: Now, she really takes the biscuit!

I remember once getting one of those entirely chocolate Kit-Kats and considered it a bonus.

I had a few of them way back when. But they were a better chocolate then.
Now it would probably be better just to get wafer.

Re: Now, she really takes the biscuit!

They should agree to her demands on condition she eats all the chocolate they supply every day. If she fails on any one day she has to pay back in cash the cost of the supplied chocs.

... then supply 1 kilo of chocs per day.
Now Zen, but a +Net residue.

Bit harsh, she also said “I’m trying my luck, if you don’t ask you don’t get.”

Re: Now, she really takes the biscuit!

I don't know what it is like now but as a kid it was a bit of fun to send back sweets/crisps that were duff in some way.
I've had a few nice boxed sweet selections back over the years each with a heartfelt apology.
But maybe some manufacturers cared more then and anyway the sweets were better. Tongue

@Artmo they need to give her two fingers, only one and she will take them to court.

If they Krave in to her demands, later on they may fall prey to her demands for a gastric band op.
