Northern Lights

Seems that people as far as the South of England were able to see a display of the Northern Lights last night, perhaps it wasn't possible to predict it but there is a small chance it may happen again tonight.
Worth looking out for !
Some impressive pictures on the BBC News at lunchtime.

Bit vague is that for a seafaring man.......I Thought you would be more accurate with Longitude and Latitude coordinates even as a landlubber I know my exact coordinates with the use of one of these,

Re: Northern Lights

Defining the direction, by compass point, is not in the least bit vague.....  Huh
However, saying that London is "somewhere, over there, to the right of me, would, indeed be vague.  Undecided
Even if a landlubber did not know the exact lat and long, of London, and Portsmouth, by using the compass direction from Portsmouth, and traveling in that direction, they would surely come to London, eventually.  Smiley
