According to https://www.macworld.co.uk/news it starts at £4,999.  A full-spec build-to-order iMac Pro could cost over £17,000!

For that money I could buy a new or very good second hand car.

If they continue to raise the price at that rate when a new machine comes out it will not be long before the price matches a house..
