eBay Customer Support made a decision

Hi member,
eBay Customer Support has reviewed the case and made a final decision.

UPDATE:
Reply received almost immediately..
Hello xxxxxx,
Thanks for forwarding that suspicious-looking email. You're right - it
was a phishing attempt, and we're working on stopping the fraud.
By
reporting the problem, you've made a difference!

Again, many really obvious pointers, supposedly from UK, yet spelled Favour as Favor !!
dollar and GBP together..
And a delaying tactic in case you check Paypal directly..

Note: It may take up to 24 hours to update in your Seller Dashboard.

Plus, as it happens, I never sell anything on eBay.

Standard auto-reply. I have sent many to spoof @ ebay and paypal. Initially I sent a covering message but now I just forward the offending email. The text of the reply remains the same.

Re: New ebay Phishing attempt... 25th June 2014

I received two replies, one immediately with a generic thank you.
The second one, mentioned above was 5 minutes later, presumably some auto checking auto bot that sussed out it was a phishing email sent to my email address.
