New Year's resolution

My New Year's resolution is to give less of a 💩 than I did last year... so no change there!

What's yours?

Re: New Year's resolution

My New Year's resolution is to spend lots of money.

As I don't have any I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

Here's hoping.

Re: New Year's resolution

think mine will be to give up on hope. I thought life was starting to pick up but been dealt yet another kick in the teeth just lately - multiple blows in fact.

I keep hanging in hoping it'll get better but it never really does.

I need a new signature... i'm bored of the old one!

Re: New Year's resolution

I think a lot of people have been dealt multiple blows this past year, it's hard to feel a sense of positivity when life deals shovelful after shovelful of the brown stuff, especially when it is undeserved, but we just have to keep going regardless, prove to "them" that we're not pushovers and not going to stand for their bovine excrement...

Re: New Year's resolution

One resolution I guarantee I will be keeping is a review of my broadband contract with PN that expires in November.

I am aware the price of PN broadband has increased, fair enough but most additional extras have also increased along with line rental saver....so in my case a extra £ 24 a year plus the increase in LRS.

Perhaps PN is going down the same route as the insurance companies, stick with us and we will increase costs for loyal customers.

You can get 3840 x 2160 now ( at 144 Hz refresh )...... the new year will be clearer with better contrast LOL

I use to think like that but exactly 1 year today I was dealt a real whammy, such that life for a good 8 months, really did feel as if it was the pits. Amazing what a year can do. All I know is best to live life as is and don't assume that you'll always have good health.

Only way from down is up..........

As for NYR, never make them. Total waste.

Ever helpful. Grin Sure, I’d love to help you out. Now which way did you come in?

And how would one integrate such an obscene resolution & refresh rate into an 11 year old Lenovo T410 laptop display driven by a woefully underpowered nVidia NVS-3100m GPU that can barely move out of its' own way playing Minecraft? 🤣

If you have an old CRT monitor, it might snow.

Re: New Year's resolution

With so many techies on this forum, I should have known better than to use the word 'resolution' 😂
