Re: New Prime Minister - Boris Johnson

More Breaking Fake?News

Extended bouts of sunshine causing Government severe problems

Johnson and Patels Enhanced Hostile Environment is having increased difficulty detecting who is British enough not to be deported due to normally pale British wearing unaccustomed deep tans.

An emergency COBRA meeting came to the conclusion it would all be back on track come winter - ignoring warnings that winter might no longer actually be cold and sunless enough to address the issue.

'Darned crafty camouflage is really confusing the facial recognition on the cameras and drones'

- was allegedly overheard

In a related issue.

Severe heat stroke epidemic in Scotland as temperatures in Glasgow breach 20 degrees for almost 2 whole days running.

'The rain is boiling' one red haired and recently red skinned Glaswegian was heard to howl.

(and to pre-empt some possible comments - I have never claimed bigotry was a purely white affliction - especially self serving bigotry)

Re: New Prime Minister - Boris Johnson

If Boris is true to his word and we finally leave it will just highlight all the wasted years of dithering which certainly did the country no good at all.

And I like the way he is trying to get an agreement. That is where something is agreed by both sides not where one side dictates and the other has to agree.

May got an agreement (agreed by both sides). She just couldn't get Parliament to agree (and notably the ERG). An agreement demands compromise; May's "red lines" left her little or no room for compromise, but the EU offered, during the transition period, to ignore their own rules. They have compromised a great deal, but the Brextremists see only their own demands, and anything else is "traitorous".

Johnson has now filled his cabinet with dyed in the wool Brexit Believers (even though it meant giving important roles to people who have had previously to leave their posts for misconduct). They're already setting up their excuses for the carnage that leaving without a deal will cause.  ( It amounts to, "A big boy did it and ran away"), but they now own it. The easiest deal in history, and the sunny uplands are within their grasp, and if they don't appear, then only Johnson and his cabal can be blamed.

Re: New Prime Minister - Boris Johnson

BJ has certainly made a positive start with the public. According to the Sunday Times the 'Boris Bounce' has given a 10% rise in support for the Tories.

Re: New Prime Minister - Boris Johnson

Boris is hollowing out Labour support in their traditional heartlands, he is doing a tour taking in Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham and around the northern powerhouse promising to invest and improve infrastructure.  John McDonnell is positively incandescent with rage.  Boris has been talking to disillusioned Labour MPs in leave constituencies in Labour heartlands for a while now and doing deals, be interesting to see how many vote with government from now on because of labour becoming a remain party left them up the creek without a paddle... politics has not been this interesting for ages - ( or terrifying if you are a remainer ).

Unlike petulant po-faced Phil Hammond the new chancellor Sajid David has said that he can get Boris all the money he wants, Hammond threw his dummy out of the pram and said he would withhold funding ... what a difference a few days can make.

I love it when Boris put down Ian Blackford that smug SNP idiot when Blackford said Boris was elected as PM on too few votes and Boris said that Nicola Sturgeon got even less when Alec Salmond resigned she only got 66 votes to become Scottish first minister... gotta love Boris - he is the man.

Thats just brexiters returning to the Tories

The Brexit party couldn't get enough Tories, so they're trying it the other way around.

Corbyn is just sitting back hoping Johnson will do his dirty work for him - and devastating the Labour vote in doing it of course.

Glad the Brexiters are confident though. They are sure to win a referendum

You mean that one where they promised:

* No one was threatening our place in the single market

* There are no plans for no deal because we will get a great deal

* Deals across the world bigger than our deals with the EU ready to go

** All sorted BEFORE any legal process to leave the EU was even started ....

etc etc etc

Still waiting ...

I see the bbc is reporting that vauxhall says if there is a no deal brexit they may move thier production out of the uk. I presume that decision has nothing to do with it being owned by a french company and the french goverment owning shares in it?Roll eyesShocked

Re: New Prime Minister - Boris Johnson

More like the tariffs for selling in Europe and the tariffs and delivery issues with the majority of their parts - which come from the EU.

Perhaps inform yourself about

a. Supply chains

b. The REALITIES of WTO no deal rather than the Brexbul

c. The REALITIES of Brexit rather than believing the Brexbul

A few realities in simple terms - I'm sure you will only see what you want to see:

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/news/jlr-expects-brexit-deal-after-electric-car-plans/ar-AADUid1

Note the announced JLR electric builds are LUXURY models and depend on the building of a battery giga factory - by someone...

Taxpayers who dont use tax havens  get your wallets out to fund building these luxury cars which will be bought by those who do use tax havens..

Car industry worldwide is suffering from the same thing as British business  - uncertainty -- with the car industry it is uncertainty over which cars to build, Diesel, Petrol,  Hybrid, or full battery power ( which are selling like cold cakes at the moment ) or driverless,  buyers are not buying because of uncertainty and this is affecting car industry profitability.  In Britain the dithering of Theresa May, the back stabbing anti-democratic remainer establishment and MPs and 3 years wasted has spooked industry because of uncertainty,  business is well able to deat with no-deal Brexit as long as they have certainty....

Very good of you to keep warning us all about that dodgy food in bold writing but methinks you may well have been consuming a lot of that stuff yourself based on the contents of some of your more recent posts under ' fake news'.

How much worse stuff have you lot been eating then with the utter codswallop you lot post as 'truth'?

Theres more core real truth in those fake?news posts of mine than in all you lots Brexit twaddle put together.

No doubt thats whats really upsetting you..

LOL

Still not seen any real itemised detailed benefits to be had from Brexit from any of you.

.. because there aren't any.

Like I just said - even the 'positive' electric vehicle manufacturing news will depend on foreign batteries, and make the vehicles prohibitively expensive - hence the 'luxury' market target.

Also dependant on JLR laying off rafts of workers.

or who is going to fund and build this new massive battery gigafactory - and when?

If there are any real benefits you can identify, DO SO

Hopefully something more that the current best hopes for - with Brexiters we expect (with no solid justification whatsoever) to start seeing some benefits from Brexit sometime from 2050

- after the British taxpayer has funded the private sector investment and profits for a few decades at least as the latest plans for sewer and power station builds

Hey - never mind - With foreign owned massive dividend paying Thames water and EDF top of the list for taxpayers money guarantees and support

- now aren't they

LOL
