Re: New Pope doesn't really like journalists

I wonder whether he is a Marmite lover or hater ?
Catholic priests probably have a preference for putting their fingers (and other things !) in brown sticky stuff -
or am I thinking of something else ?  Crazy

Re: New Pope doesn't really like journalists

Must say that my first reactions to new Pope are favourable.
As he was born in Argentina, of Italian parents, his views on the Falklands  are hardly surprising and don't really matter.
I like the fact that he doesn't seem to be bothered with trappings of  office.

Re: New Pope doesn't really like journalists

The fact that he is a Jesuit (the first Jesuit Pope ever - or t least for a very long time) may well make it interesting

He certainly appears to be very down to earth and a man of the people.  Time will tell Wink

We'll be expecting some papal bull's then...
Experience; is something you gain, just after you needed it most.

When faced with two choices, simply toss a coin. It works not because it settles the question for you. But because in that brief moment while the coin is in the air. You suddenly know what you are hoping for.
