Disgusting price. I thought you were skint M_Steve?
I mean come on.. sure, cool feature but does it also fill itself up or mine bitcoins?
For a fraction of that i could glue an arduino on the side with a servo that would flick the switch via wifi  Wink

i think they create their own wifi network not join your local one so are painful to use.

Re: Never knew these existed

So, a kettle that tells you when it's boiled AND you can choose what temperature it heats up to? Wow... Shocked
My kettle tells me it's done by rumbling a lot followed by a loud CLICK, and I can have it heat up to a lower temperature by switching it off sooner, it's "networked" to the mains via a 13Amp plug, and the best bit is, it was only £10!!! Cool

Re: Never knew these existed

You're still going have to go to it to fill it up and pour it out yourself.
I think a teasmaid is probably more useful - can you still get them?

Well I know you can get a ZX spectrum, so I guess anything is possible.

We had one... but kept forgetting to put the milk on the tray before going to sleep... consequently had to get out of bed to get the milk  from downstairs    Roll eyes
