Netflix 60Mbs of peak Traffic

According to a report on cable.co.uk Plusnet are saying 60Mbs of peaktime traffic is Netflix.
Time for some exchange based cache servers to reduce the backbone load?

Edited to change percentage to mbs  Embarrassed

Plusnet says Netflix makes up 60Mbps of peak bandwidth
http://www.plus.net/support/service/network_performance/broadband_bandwidth_usage.shtml#totalTraffic appears to show a max demand of about 2.25Gb/sec

Re: Netflix 60Mbs of peak Traffic

The only interesting thing is that they can somehow spin it to make 60 Mbps, or about 30 people, sound like a large amount. "Almost 2" FTTC connections worth.
@Oldjim - those graphs don't have anywhere near the total amount of bandwidth anymore. Not since Plusnet switched to their new broadband network, the one with 10Gbps links, IPStream Connect.
