Named Road Gritters

Seen a banner for live weather stories on the BBC where it said that the personalised road gritters were out and about with this:

Sir Andy Flurry and Gritty Gritty Bang Bang on the road

Don't know what you think, but as it's a road gritter I'd have called it:

Sir Sandy Flurry

Re: Named Road Gritters

Nah.
I'm pretty sure the gritter names story started in Scotland so the original is more apt.
I must have been really bad in a previous life as this was my 3rd ISP in a row that used lithium.
Now you're stuck with me because my new ISP doesn't run a forum Cheesy

Re: Named Road Gritters

Can't remember where I first saw it, but here's The Trunk Road Gritter Tracker from Traffic Scotland showing the location of their named gritters.
