1.Picking potatoes/Turnips/Hay making on a local farm for pocket money.
2.Paper boy. (Don't ever recall paper girls)
3.clerical work for firm building aluminium bodies for trucks.
4.Apprentice fitter for firm building large printing presses for newspapers and magazines.
5.Health service
6.Retirement.

I suspect most people on this forum are well advised about scamming methods, indeed some of the latest scams are often highlighted on this very forum.

Bank worker, though given the diferent functions may coubt as more than one.
Inland Revenue..tax collection.

I was at Midland Bank in 1980. Had a great bank at the Blue in Bermondsey then got moved to East Dulwich and hated it there

Just the first one, which was as a barber at our local maternity hospital - it all went downhill after there!

Only 4 in my case:
(1) Paper-boy - needed it for pocket money because my dad was tight, and Mum didn't have spare for 6 kids.
(2) 6 months trying to sort said dads business - while looking for a proper job.
(3) 30 years doing numerous jobs in production offices at steelworks - for those that know the goings on in the Sheffield steel industry, I started at Firth Brown and finished at Allvac.
(4) Back to paper-boy after I had to take early retirement.
Now fully retired.

Me 1958 in a large London branch at the start. BTW does National Service count as a job? Ugh!
